MYKRIPTOGRAFI - NATIONAL CRYPTOGRAPHY POLICY

NACSA presents MyKriptografi, a forward-looking policy framework that is developed in alignment with the Cyber Security Act 2024 [Act 854] and the Malaysia Cyber Security Strategy (MCSS). MyKriptografi sets the national direction for cryptographic governance, research, and application. The Cabinet has officially approved MyKriptografi on 28 November 2025, marking a new strategic era for Malaysia's cyber defense.

Serving as the successor to the 2013 National Cryptography Policy (DKN 2013), MyKriptografi is engineered to be Malaysia’s "Digital Shield" against sophisticated cyber threats, including those posed by the quantum computing era. This policy moves beyond basic compliance, aiming to build a resilient, self-reliant cryptographic ecosystem that protects the data of the Government, critical industries, and every Malaysian citizen.

NACSA is dedicated to ensuring the effective implementation of MyKriptografi, which will play a vital role in preserving Malaysia's digital sovereignty and building a resilient, trusted digital ecosystem.
